The Government should construct more deaf training schools, the Uganda National Association of the Deaf information officer, Joseph Mbulamwena, has said. Mbulamwena said the inadequacy of deaf schools has led to children from poor families to miss education. He was speaking at a one-day workshop for the deaf trainers at Hotel Atlanta recently.
