http://www.dcara.org/Farewell to Rob.htm
Folks,
As I hear the news of Roth's resignation, the questions come to my mind,
What has he done good? And what has he done that could have been better?
Robert Roth is credited for being the stepping stone toward the
modernization of a California state funded Deaf social service agency.
He lead DCARA into areas that have never been explored by a California
funded deaf social service agency. We hope that other deaf social service
agencies in California follow this example Roth has made toward the
modernization of deaf agencies.
Robert Roth too had his strong ties with the old deaf guards and has limited his interactions only to the old deaf guards, namely the deaf senior citizens, when he should have be more open to the rest of the communities. He also has been too soft on deaf crooks namely, Brian Malzkuhn, when he should have been more firm as his comments on the newsvideo made DCARA look like a weak agency.
Robert Roth has set his course on a personal journey after his throne at
DCARA and I wish him well and wish him Bon Voyage!
