Cyclists help deaf people - Lancashire Evening Post
Two boys used a school project to get on their bikes and raise money for a charity for deaf people in Lancashire.
Liam Donelly and John Stevenson, from Hutton Grammar School, raised £257.68 for Deafway on Brockholes Brow in Preston.
They cycled from Deafway – which provides British Sign Language training and residential services – to the Parish Church in Kendal.
They decided to do the 50-mile sponsored bike ride as part of their citizenship class at school.
