A Brentwood housewife and her DA husband. A Persian storeowner. Two police detectives, who are also lovers. A black television director and his wife. A Mexican locksmith. Two car-jackers. A rookie cop. A middle-aged Korean couple. They all live in Los Angeles. And, in the next 36 hours, they will all collide.

'Crash' Theatrical Trailer

A great film I ever seen. My favorite sence is a poor Mexican locksmith in working class and his little daugher. I strongly suggest you to watch...

I want to check this flick out, it looks good, very good, I like the quote where a dude says something like "We need to touch eachother so much that we crash into eachother".

Not that Crash (1996)

Batou, I do not recall the quotation since I only watched Crash (2004/2005) one time. It may sound like Crash (1996).

Just want to caution AD viewers carefully to select the right movie...

What the heck is wrong with you?

None of you have ever replied since September 2005?

78th Annual Oscar Winners for Crash:

Picture: "Crash"

Screenplay (original): "Crash"

Film Editing: "Crash."

I rarely posted the new thread when I watched and selected the very good film....

You owe me for not believing me.....

Sounds good movie, maybe I will ask Sequoias to stop by movie to rent that movie if we have money. Thank you for telling us abt that movie! :thumb:

I'll gotta admit that I wasn't really too impressed with Crash. It seemed to be a hodge podge of seemingly unrelated events 'crashing' into each other with various themes intermingled throughout the movie. If the film was trying to tell us something, it sure wasn't coherent.

Obviously, the experts at the Academy thought otherwise. :)

They made Hustle and Flow in Memphis, about Gangs... making us Memphis people look bad. Yeah the Experts at the Academy. :pissed:

I am happy for Walk the Line, that film made in Memphis also... though.
Thank you Expert at the Academy for awarding them. :)

Hello Eyeth, speaking of hodge podge events, you may try to rent this good film: Pulp Ficton (1994).

Hee, I understand that you may be deranged after watching the Crash. Please try to view again so that you will obtain the good puzzles. Oh yeah, don't you love the puzzles? Maybe you need to start to work on the hundred pieces of puzzle so that you will understand the better picture...

You're right. I forgot about Pulp Fiction. I thought that movie was pretty good, even though it had a similar story layout to Crash. Another similar movie I liked was Sin City. But for some reason, Crash really isn't making quite an impression on me.

But, I seem to be in the minority, as a lot of other people seem to like it and have voted it as the Best Picture of the 2006 Academy Awards.

You meant late teenagers. Yep...

What is your opinion of Crash?

I haven't watch the movie, but I learned from others that it is a good movie.
I already bought the movie Crash and haven't watch it yet...
And I know some people will ask me if they can borrow my movie Crash to their home so that they can watch it too.
So I will tell you if I like the movie or not... I hope it doesn't make me upset or whatever.

Then do not post on my thread again until you see the "Crash" first...

I have seen the movie today, and it was okay. I don't know why they name this movie Crash, I thought it would be something like riot or whatever...
But no... it was just about how people with different race feel about each other... in our everyday normal life, so racism will never go away.

I really don't understand why this movie won Best Picture though? :dunno:
It seems like Star Wars or Harry Potter or King Kong should have won that one.
