Deaf and hard of hearing residents of San Antonio will see increased communication services thanks to a new contract the state signed with CSD, a private, nonprofit telecommunications and human services organization.
CSD will work with the Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services Office for Deaf and Hard of Hearing in its San Antonio office.
CSD will reach out to underserved residents who are hard of hearing or deaf, coordinating access to information, special equipment and education on hearing loss.
For more information about the program, call Carolyn Colley at (210) 349-3332 voice/TTY, (800) 574-1652 toll-free voice/TTY, or e-mail ccolley@c-s-d.org
