Deaf contestants are wanted for the Miss Deaf Missouri Pageant.
Contestants must be a deaf or hard-of-hearing female age 17-27 by May 11.
Contestants must have already graduated from high school before the national pageant in 2008.
They must be single, never been married nor had a marriage annulled, and never have given birth to a child.

The Spring Fling Deaf Picnic will be held from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. May 4 (rain date May 11) at Springfield Lake Pavilion.
Children and adults who are deaf and hard-of-hearing and their teachers, interpreters, families and friends are all welcome.
Bring side dishes to share; hot dogs and Andy's frozen custard will be provided.
Please RSVP to Stephanie Upton at supton@wolves .k12.mo.us or Tracy at gulovsent@branson.k12.mo.us so sponsors will know how much food to have.
There will be an interpreted Springfield Little Theatre Performance of "Taffetas" at 7:30 p.m. May 12.
Adult tickets are $23 and kids are $13.
The theatre is located at 311 E. Walnut Ave.
