Hi. I've done a lot of searches in the Internet from Target to Wal-Mart to Office Depot, and I can't find a table/stand that allows for a 57" rear-projection TV (the depth of my RPTV is 13.9" and I need a table/stand that matches what I wanted a table that's ~25" in height, 46"-50" width, and 20" in depth. I don't need all the fancy stuff, like maybe shelves, glass doors, etc. -- just the basic.
I plan to spend as littie as possible--no more than $100. Is itpossible? I don't mind not having top-quality construction, even if it's important, as my HDTV weighs about 62 pounds compared to 70-100+ pounds for LCDs/Plasma over 50"!
So, to help me narrow the search, what category(ies) should I look into?
By the way, I currently have a Mitsubishi 57" WD-Y577 1080P HDTV (I'm nit-picky when it comes to features that I really wanted, such as x.v.Color (wider range of colors--way more than what RGB color spectrum provides), HDMI 1.3a (latest version, which is great for me), NetCommand (remote control of my A/V receiver, cable box, etc.), PerfectColor (make red-colored hair redder, or make a sky bluer or lower the color intensity, etc.), etc. I'm working at 1920x1080 and I love that resolution! I'd be happy to show my desktop, but probably not in my thread.
Anyway, my current computer desk is a bit too high for my HDTV, but 57" is the lowest I can get at Circuit City, but I'm very happy with my HDTV. So, when it comes to large-screen HDTV, I don't mind sacrificing my slidable keyboard (where it slides out and back in).
