On Friday, I complimented one co-worker for a job well done on his project with his teacher for their students. They created "Colonial" Games in which they set up a room all about the Colonial Times to teach the students about the culture and lifestyle of those times as part of the public school curriculm. It was very very creative and I cant describe how awesome it was. On Friday night, he posted about being tired from an exhausting day at work so I commented saying what a great job he did and how he was a great asset to our school (he is new). Well, some of the other co-workers saw what I said and told me that I shouldn't compliment him publicity because it will hurt other co-workers feeligns just because they arent as creative as he is. I just got a page from one of them saying that it was a bit of favorism. WTF?!

Why do people make such a big fuss on what others say on FB unless they are naming them in a negative light?

Should I have kept it private? :dunno:

The general rule is compliment in public and reprimand in private. Let insecure people deal with their own issues.
