Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind wins national honors


A team from the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind has won the National High School Academic Bowl for deaf and hard of hearing students. The group of three seniors and one sophomore has just returned from Washington DC where they took the top honors for answering questions about everything from history and pop culture, to math.

This was the second year in a row for the Colorado team to make it to the national level. Out of a field of 74 teams, only nine made it to the nationals, and the Colorado school came out on top.

That's cool ... oh damn it I wish i know their names so i can go down and congraduation them and they make Colorado proud of them ... since i am among the coloradoans

[EDITED: I know two on that team-- one is more closer than another because he dated my good friend... ahh SMALL WORLD! Both are seniors and the rest, i think, are sophmores so I dont know them... *ELITES* lol]

It is really cool. I have played with them and Andrew Elk is the backbone of the team and they got so much potential. I did recollect telling them that they could go all way to National-- and I SEE IT HAS HAPPENED! Niceeeeeee
