Which cliché applies most to you and your life (generally speaking)? Don't know? Well here is a (long!) list to help you out.

Patience is a virtue is my cliché because I tend to go slowly in my endeavors- making sure that every detail is not overlooked.

On a similar note, these are two of my favorite quotes and they are both by the same person, Napoleon Hill:

Patience, persistence, and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success. – Napoleon Hill

What the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve. – Napoleon Hill

I don't use cliches very much, but one of my favorite quotes (author unknown) is in my signature: "Never put off until tomorrow what you can do today." I try to live by that as when I'm feeling lazy, I think "oh, I'll just do it tomorrow." But then something else comes up tomorrow that takes more importance, and what I already put off gets put off for another day. So I try to think of that quote to motivate me to finish what I can that day. It doesn't matter what it is, if it's work, things around the house, time with friends, and so on ..

A few more of my favorite quotes (not clichés) that you might enjoy reading:

A man’s wisdom gives patience. – Proverbs 19:11

Patience with others is love, patience with self is hope, patience with God is faith.

Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm. - Winston Churchill

Success is a journey, not a destination.

The pessimist complains about the wind. The optimist expects the wind to change. A leader adjusts the sails.

Time you enjoyed wasting is not a waste of time. – T.S. Eliot

Things turn out best for those who make the best of the way things turn out. - Art Linkletter

Life is too important to be taken seriously! -Oscar Wilde

Blessed are we who can laugh at ourselves for we shall never ceased to be amused.

Now back to the clichés. :)

"Experience is the teacher of all things." by Julius Caesar

How very true! :)
