Deaf and hearing impaired children in the Tri-County area are invited to attend VBS from 9 a.m.- noon Monday through 20 at First Baptist Church. There is no cost to attend.
Bible stories will be given in sign language. Deaf children will be with hearing children during recreation, crafts, refreshments and for the daily closing time in the main sanctuary.
Martha Davis, whose grew up in a deaf home, is director and teacher. Several leaders skilled in American Sign Language will be assisting the teacher. Deaf adults and teenagers can volunteer to assist with VBS activities.
All are welcome to sit in the classes and observe the teaching and activities. For more information, contact David Richardson at 334.288.4530.
