Try an Aussie dessert recipe!!

Ice cream Christmas cake

You need:
1/2 cup Chopped raisons
1/2 cup Chopped sultanas
1/2 cup Chopped currents
1/4 cup Chopped glace cherries
1/2 cup Chopped mixed peel
1/4 cup Mixed glace fruits
1/4 cup Brandy or rum
1 litre chocolate ice cream (softened)
1/4 cup Blanched almonds, toasted and chopped
1/2 cup cream

Method:
- Combine all fruit and spirits and let soak for a few days (overnight is fine if you're pressed for time!)

- Mix fruit mix with the ice cream, almonds and cream

- Pour mixture into a five-cup pudding dish

- Leave to freeze overnight

Serving Suggestion: Immerse basin in hot water to loosen pudding. Transfer to plates and serve with cream

It's yummy yum yum!

ooohhh hope to make tons tons of cookies cuz my brother is a family cookie monster :giggle:

Raisins and sultanas both are dried grapes. Raisins are from the green grapes and sultanas are from the black grapes.
