i just want to find out that anyone as deaf or hoh working as chef in kitchen have encounter some problems with hearing such as communication problem? i work as chef in kitchen but teach some staff a few sign language..but all the time i have to read their lip although im wearing left hearing aid..just want to share some thoughts with you guys..sometime people dont accept or look down on us that we cant hear anything or cant be chef..or whatever..
 
I used to work as a bus boy at Denny's. I was asked to make some noise. You know voice something to let others know that you're coming and to clear path as I often had to bring trays to kitchen. They asked me how to sign plate, spoon, fork, knife, etc.....

wow..thats cool..but at least they willing to cooperate with you...but what are you doing for living? still working as bus boy or chef?

wow..thats cool..but at least they willing to cooperate with you...but what are you doing for living? still working as bus boy or chef?

I don't work in restaurant business right now. I worked at Denny's in 1993, 1994, and 1998. It was a good experience for me.

I now do other things such as working with bikes, but nothing with restaurants.

Oh my:shock: you selling road bikes or whatever? im thinking to get one and train to cycle in long distance..for one day i hope to travel around the world with my road bike...haha...
 
I've road bikes and others. I need to make a website to showcase 150+ bikes that I have.
