Central Maryland Gains Established Sign Language Interpreting Firm - PR.com
We Interpret announces the relocation of corporate offices to Columbia, MD. nationally certified Sign Language Interpreters are available to provide communication access during interactions between Deaf and Hearing individuals. WeInterpret provides interpreters to hospitals, businesses, school districts and government organizations all of whom can obtain the services of an interpreter 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act has mandated that communication access be provided by all private companies to allow for equal access to all citizens who use sign language as a means of communicating.
In areas such as the Washington / Baltimore metro area, interpreters are in high demand and short supply. Often interpreters are not available and the situation is magnified by the fact that interpreters can spend as much as half of their day traveling from job to job. Costs of travel time and mileage are often passed on to the company responsible for paying for this service. "The new, 6990 Columbia Gate Way Drive, location will allow for reduced costs, rapid response and access to a larger pool of interpreters," states Tauna Faries, President of WeInterpret. Additionally, a mini-call center for Video Remote Interpreting will be opened and the Louis Frisino conference/training room will be dedicated on July 13, 2011.
