Hey all,

So up here in Canada we do not have ratings on our phones that tell us their Hearing Aid compatibility or TTY/TDD functionality. Most of the carriers are too lazy to list if their phones have digital TTY/TDD on their phones, and just put "no" even if it does, nor do carriers/manufacturers have to have ANY phones that are HA compatible.

That being said, I'm looking for some advice on phones from others here. I figure that I will end up purchasing an Unlocked GSM phone from ebay or similar.

I'm looking for a phone with a QWERTY keyboard, bluetooth and TTY/TDD functionality. I just got a Phonak Smartlink, so I am planning on getting a cell phone, therefore, it needs bluetooth. But i imagine that I am going to have difficulty understanding even with bluetooth if the other person is in a noisy environment, which is when i would like to be able to use TTY/VCO.

Anyway, basically, if you have a phone that can do this and you like it, please list it here for me so that I have a starting point of where to look.

Requirements:

-GSM (1900 band)
-TTY/TDD function ON cell phone (not needing external TTY)
-QWERTY keyboard
-bluetooth

Thanks everyone!
