Carbon Dioxide Detected on Faraway World

Very interesting article! It says in part--
"'This is the first detection of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere of an extrasolar planet, which means that three of the Big Four biomarkers for habitable/inhabited worlds have now been seen: water, methane, and now carbon dioxide,' explained Alan Boss, a planet-formation theorist at the Carnagie Institution of Washington who was not involved in the finding. 'The only one that has not been found is oxygen/ozone.'"

Times are indeed changing. I remember when scientists pooh poohed the idea of ANY life at all in the rest of the universe, but now they are narrowing down the definition to being HUMAN life. Still a ways to go I guess.
I enjoy your posts, Royale, keep them coming! :)

Earth (methane), Water, Fire (carbon dioxide), are all now founded and only left is the Air (oxgyen/ozone). Without any of them, we will not live :)
