PLEASE tell me this is just a rumor...
I just found the info at ign.com about this upcoming Ghost Rider film, which should be in threatres around halloween.
Certainly I've heard that Nic Cage (no offense, but I dont believe he'll be a good actor for this part) is going to play as Johnny Blaze and have the transformation of the Ghost Rider during the nights.
But I never heard that another marvel-based superhero would make an apperance in that film as well and I thought to myself, "are they just trying to ruin the comics or something??"
of course, I don't think I've ever seen any other comic-based films where one superhero faces another superhero from the different comics, but the same universe, you know?
I have heard rumors afew years ago that Warner Bros. is working on the "Batman and Superman" movie, but haven't heard anything else new on this project, or a project that they are REALLY working on...
When making superhero films, they always just stick with the heroes that is just from the comics that they are making from...not from another comic, you know?
like, they did make the "X-men" films, but did Spider-man or the Hulk or Fanastic Four appear in the "X-men" films? no, because it's only X-men and I feel if they put other heroes in it, it might ruin the movie, and the comics, as well.
and what about the companies who presents the movies? "X-men" is owned and presented by 20th century Fox, while "spider-man" is owned and licensed by Sony pictures...and if either appear or crossed into a film, would that violate the copyrights laws or something? I dunno.
certainly there has been a "alien vs. predator" movie, because both "alien" films and "predator" films were both owned and licensed by 20th century fox, so it's okay for them to do a movie that cross both aliens and predators together, even though that movie sucked lol
Maybe I am flipping out, but I dunno...there has already been a Captain America movie, back in the late 1980s and I wouldn't say it was great but it was just okay...jjjjjjjjusssttttt okay. and I don't think there has been a Ghost Rider film yet anyway so it's cool that they are making one, but why must they put another hero in it, just to make it more interesting, or just to make it crappy? you tell me.
Well here's the article on the "Captain America vs. Ghost Rider" film, as that was what they said they were working on...
