I was reading the book, Mere Christianity a little bit and I just got it in the mail from someone today. I'm not sure if this book is really good or not.

Have you read this book before? Did it help you understand better about christianity and answers to your questions?

I read it and for me it was crucial in my decision to accept Christianity. I'd been raised Christian and believed in God, but it helped me to work through the logic to understand why salvation was necessary, and so on.

Lewis is a very philosophical person, but he can make you laugh once in awhile, too.

The only place where he has problems is that sometimes he has a bad attitude towards women's role in society. But I think since he was born in 1898 and wrote MC in the 1940s, those parts can be ignored. If he had been born in modern times I really think he would not have felt like that about women.

I have not read the book, but did read about his life. Its seems interesting. And I did watched the movie Narnia, which written by C S Lewis. Its very good movie. Yeah who he was before he became born again believer and after, he have changed and also learning. I first read about his life thru Charles Stanley, the IN TOUCH magazine.

I did watched Narnia. It was very interestin'. But, I don't know who C S Lewis really is or his background.
