Breaking News! Missing 17 yo Girl with Learning Disability!

This is really sad as the young woman has trouble making friends and she meet some strange guy on line at the library and went off with him. I hope she is OK!

But I do wonder why she still couldn't have learned about a cell phone and carried it with her. Most of the people that I've worked with who have cognitive disabilities, delays and severe LD <all of which are different things> - would still have been able to use a range of basic to extremely simple cell, especially if it was one that is pre-programmed to operate with a few buttons, and for only or mainly emergencies.

She did not have a cell phone , I am not sure why her parents did not get her one and also see who she was talking to on line. This very sad and I am very concerned about her safety. I have a niece that has Asperger's and she had hard time making friends so this very upsetting to me to her about .
