I had a blood transfusion in December 1969 during my heart surgery at 1 month old. I was told years later after attending an AIDS/HIV/blood transfusions class at where I used to work (a health clinic), that I am ok when I asked a relative about mine.
Now, I am not sure.....do they check the blood for blood transfusion before 1975? What about after that year?
