Bird Fact

I was once given a mourning dove and when he grew up he wouldn't
leave, he just followed me around my property poofing his chest
out at me cooing so I tried to get him a mate, brought in several
females and he beat em' all up then would come back over to me
to coo a little more so in the 10 years that I had him he never took a mate
and didn't want any other bird around him except me.
