Big?
Med?
Small?

Do you think small car is dangerous like toyota yaris or volkswagon golf?
Because of dangerous crash.
And Why?

Or

Do you think big truck is safety like nissan titan or toyota tacoma? Or SUVs?
Because of strong or easy rollover?

Your opinion.
(Both ladies and guys)

^^ You got it all backwards. SUVs are more likely to get rolled over than small cars due to center of gravity position. Tall SUVs and big trucks have higher center of gravity. So they are working on improving SUVs with lower center of gravity to prevent sudden roll overs.

You can ask Deaf Mater, he's the tow guy and he has seen accidents and break downs.

Don't feel bad, it's not your fault. You were probably not thinking straight. At least, you can edit your post in time. ;)

Small hybrid cars are going to take control in the world transportation in ten years from now. I am looking forward to buy a Hybrid Honda CR-Z, which is coming out soon.

I used to work in an automobile insurance office, working in the claims department, dealing with motor vehicle accidents.

There are still on-going arguments regarding which is safer: Big or small cars. The key reason in accidents is the driver, not the vehicle.

I personally think big cars especially SUVs are dangerous as most of the time the drivers cannot see behind them when reversing. They run over children, bicycles, hit low posts, etc. Sure, in a serious crash involving a big and small vehicle, the small car can absorb major damage whereas a big vehicle will probably fare better ... depending on the circumstances.

There are some smaller cars that have a strong enough frame to withstand being hit by a big car.

A car expert said, "The vehicle is like a weapon. We talk about guns and knives, but that vehicle, if you drive it recklessly, is worse than a handgun. It can be the most deadly thing you have."

I prefer to drive small cars due to easy parking, manoeuvrability and it gives me confidence of driving it safely.

A bit of humor of which the safest car is, "the one that never leaves the garage". :giggle:

KIA Spectra has very high safety rating. 6 airbags. Small car. This is what I drive and I bought it because a 17 year old boy ran a stoplight and hit the door right where I was sitting. If it ever happens again, I hope for less injury.

wow, it looks nice but I'd rather with 4 doors. I drove with 2 doors before. I didn't see that one at car show.

This honda CR-Z almost look same as nissan (I forget what model is)

I saw a beautiful car both inside and outside from chrysler new model: Bahamas. Inside look so unique like a future car and moonroof window is new and unique like the whole window. They says it will come out in 2009/2010.

Really, What year? KIA made in korea.
KIA-? I'm wondering what KIA stand for?, I'm thinking Koreans in America?. (No offensive). :)

2006 year. I don't know what KIA stands for. I read it is supposed to be the cleanest car factory in the world.

From Wiki - "According to Kia Motors, the name "Kia" derives from the sino-korean word ki which means to come out and the sino-korean word a which stands for Asia. So Kia is roughly translated as arise or come up out of Asia or Rising out of Asia".

I didn't know that.

thanks for the whole information.

It's true about that car vehicle is lilke a weapon. (that's scary but that's life).

What kind of small car do you drive?

May I ask for your opinion?
Do you think toyota yaris is cute?.
I think it's cute but I'm not sure about that cuz too small.

It's an attractive looking car, no doubt. The aerodynamic design makes it look very appealing. There have been reviews about the instrument display of the Yaris is situated in the middle of the dashboard rather than in front of the driver, and some testers find this distracting and uncomfortable. Cabin and road noises are also an issue in some reviews ... those noises might be felt through vibrations for us.

Even though it's a small car, it has the feel of being spacious. That is up to you when you test-run driving this particular model to see if it suits you or not.

My car is a very old one ... 1978 Mazda 323. Will be looking for either Toyota, Mazda or Honda ... don't know which model yet.

Really. I did tried toyota yaris inside but haven't test to drive around yet.
The problem is for tall people over 6'0" who won't fit in small car. I used to drive sport car with 2 doors but inside kinda small for tall people with long legs. So I think I changed my mind about small cars because I need more roomier in the backseat and also need more roomier in the back of the trunk. Small cars is cute to me but I'm going for medium cars.

Your car mazda 323 78', wow that's pretty old. Is insurance cheaper for older car? Is that true?.

Might be a good idea and wiser to buy a medium sized car for yourself. In another review of Yaris, it says their trunks are too small.

Ah, not too sure whether it's cheaper or not as I have only got a basic third party insurance not comprehensive as it's not worth fixing if involved in an accident but still pays out insurance to other third party. If an accident happens, this old car will be going to the wreck yard.

Right...that's why I want big trunk in the back for medium car.

Oh, are u buying brand new or just used? (Used looks new).

Some used cars here in Oz are almost the price of a new one so might as well buy brand new!
