'Big Brother' contestant outrages autism group

Sheesh - That's really unbelievable. Not only it disgust me but it's sad that Adam the contestant is ignorant. Sure, he might have the experience of working with autistic people but that doesn't give him the right to label them as a retard.

It infuriates me to see how CBS could let that happen. Of course, CBS doesn't have the control of every word that comes out of each contestant's mouth but they could have retailed it to a level where it could be resolved. At least another contestant countered back and said "don't call them that" which is a step in defense but yet, with the attitude that Adam had really makes me think, What kind of person is he to work with autistic people?

Like my avatar says, Autism is not a tragedy. Ignorance is the tragedy. In this case, Ignorance played a big part.
