Lastnight was so wonderful. Hub brought me wine and ice cream LOL ..not to make up for a crappy mother's day but just to show me how much he appreicates me. He knows since he has been working so much he has been so exausted. My mother and I made amends yesterday too ~ she made me feel guilty about not having her over on Mother's Day. I was going to, but then she said oh well I have to go do some running around and it's going to TAKE ALL DAY! So maybe I will call you later.
She dumped all of her frustrations and everything on me when I already was having a bad day. So I just told her that she was the only one that could make herself happy, and I was going to invite her over but then she jumped the gun and totally went off on me.
So today I am making up for lost time, and she says she isn't going to do that from now one. She shouldn't have went off on me, and could have waited for me to invite her instead of making me feel so guilty for not calling ahead. I didn't know that hub was still going to be working his other job on Mother's Day because he said if he goes in on Sat. the Boss may just tell him to go home (since he as quitting). Well he gave him his two weeks, so that he wouldn't be strained without a cook. So, that is why I couldn't make plans. If he was off, we would have taken my mom out for breakfast, and then went over to my inlaws for dinner. I didn't know until 12am-12:30 that night that he wasn't staying home.
SO with that being said, today should be nice. I got all the house done up. The BBQ is set. She is bringing some chicken breast, and then we are gonna have a nice time and maybe watch a movie too!
