A WORKER at City College Coventry has raised £1,225 for the National Deaf Children's Society from a sponsored head shave.
Balbinder Kaur, aged 27, of Bell Green, Coventry, said: "Most deaf students have barriers to education. For example, a large number of parents of deaf students can not use sign language.
"The charity helps to provide support and funding for the parents to learn signing and have access to all forms of education."
The charity also operates a helpline.
