Just thought I'd announce that I'm BACCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!
I've spent the last few days at the world's most amazing music festival. It is a folk (singer/songwriter) fest just like Woodstock. You camp in a field, there's amazing music...............AND there are 'terps. It really is amazing.....I've been thinking we here at alldeaf need to try to get a group going there.
I had a BLAST ....so so so so so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:Dcool!!! I thought there was one in Michigan and one on an Indiana campus but you wrote it was in the field....
so lucky you!!!
any utube video you could link me to??

Are you talking about the Michigan Womyns Fest?
Here is a clip from a performance from a few years ago........[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUHsdl74mvM&feature=share]‪GANDALF MURPHY @ Falcon Ridge 2007 - Peace Train‬‏ - YouTube[/ame]

yeah, is that the one you went to or did you go to different one?
:ty: for the clip :)

LOL - we had a similar event back in May here in Arkansas. People from all over the country showed up to this 5-day festival and it's been dubbed the Woodstock of the Ozarks. There are various genres of music being played and I believe one band flew in all the way from the UK to play at this festival. I forget what it's called though, maybe some googling will reveal what it's actually called. They said attendance was close to 10,000 over the 5-day period.

so neat! I used to go to a lot of womyn's music events, rallies etc, in college.
And I'd be up for Falcon Ridge:)
