Hey guys! I am in the process of writing a novel where my protagonist is deaf. I want to do everyone justice by portraying my characters thoughts/feelings/actions to the best of my ability. I write young adult novels, geared toward ages 16 and up. If anyone would be willing to help me along the way by allowing me to ask questions, sample chapters, etc., please let me know. I would be forever grateful!

And just so I don't put off the wrong vibe, I am completely new to writing and am by no means a professional author. I just love to tell stories and after just finishing my second novel, I came up with an idea for this one. I'm not trying to promote, I genuinely want feedback as to how my character is portrayed. So if you love to read Young Adult and are interested, contact me at:

A lot of deaf people like cars with turbocharged engines. You would include a plot about that. It would be a plot that I would want to read.

lmao. That's good, because that just so happens to be a recurring theme...in all my books.
