Alright, I have received emails and of course the original thread introducing the new mods asking about who I am so here it is, Ask me whatever you like to get to know me. I am an open book, I will be happy to answer whatever you like. Questions, comments concerns... And thank you to all who did welcome me to the mod team.
 
Here's the first thing that came up from my mind...I don't get that why Alex chose you when his rules was to pick someone with a lot of posts and has been a member of Alldeaf for a while and all that stuff. I guess he knows you personally or you have been a mod from other forum?

I have explained this before. But I will again. I was his only mod for months over on TagDeaf. I worked real hard for him to clean the site up and I guess now he thinks I can do a good job here, I think I can also :)

I love music and I love to write music, I play piano and I enjoy it a great deal. I don't get to play much because I don't have my own but whenever I do get the chance I do. I love to write and I stay pretty busy with the jobs that I do have writing. And most of all I like hanging out with my close friends and family. I like to spend time with my 3 nieces and 2 nephews they are my world! I also have a small tea cup yorkie that keeps me busy (shes like my child lol)
I love watching sports, mainly college football. BUT I also like NFL and MLB and I will watch an occasional Nascar race :)
My favorite teams are Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs :)

Oh and I love movies, I have about 600 Dvds!
 
I support the Cyclone basketball team although they have not done so well since the fired Wayne Morgan.

Do you like to attend to the college basketball games?

I have been to a few and I like to watch it on TV, although my hawkeyes aren't very impressive lately lol

Thanks for the kudos :) I understand why people had the questions they did and rightfully so but I hope I did a good job of answering what people were wondering, and I hope the accept me for everything I have said as well.

Pet peeves? Hmm where do I start LOL I think I get annoyed when people email you and you email back and they don't email again, Same thing with texting on my BB, bothers me lol Mean people, and back stabbers and people who love to Gossip and hurt peoples feelings. Also people who leave their blinkers on when driving and people who try to text message while driving! HELLO if you are texting whos watching the road? lol :giggle:

I do like living in Iowa but I have always believed I am bigger than just here. My mind wanders and I would like to move back to Chicago. I love Chicago. I used to live there when I was in Marketing. I was a marketing manager for Liz Claiborne cosmetics. Fun job but with my hearing loss it started to get hard to communicate with people the way I wanted to and do it how I was supposed to. I have also lived near Orlando and in New York city both are great places but I think my heart is and always will be in Chicago. Iowa is home and all of my friends and family are here but once I finish the book I am writing (this month it will be finished, YAY!) I hope to move again :)

And no I am not married I do have a boyfriend though :)

Ahhh, I see...that sucks you lost your hearing. :( At least we are here for you. :)

I do like cats, especially fat ones they are cute. I don't have any but I used to have a big fat orange cat when I was a kid named morris, he ended up running out of the house one day and I was devastated. When I was about 16 we had 2 cats name Simba and Tigger :) But ended up having to give them to a family member because my mother had bad allergies. I like cats but i prefer to have my little dog :)

Well I still have some hearing left but it will eventually be gone, but I am slowly accepting it for what it is :) And I couldn't be happier to have all of you here on this site, I love it here on AD :) :)
