Anyone hear with an AmpliPOWER 50 phone?

I'm profoundly deaf and looking at phones.

I've found a Geemarc AmpliPOWER 50 phone which has a extra 136db volume.

Does anyone else use it that is profoundly deaf? Is it good?

I'd probably stick with something name brand through a respected distributer such as SonicAlert, Ameriphone, Ultratec etc ... That way if you have issues you can return it.

I'd email a few companies and see what they would recommend - and what features the phones come with (DAI connectors are helpful etc).
