Anyone have ENG/ABR done before?

Hey all,
I'm going for ENG/ABR etc (caloric testing too) on Tuesday and I am really, really nervous. Anyone have this done before? I know I need to do it, but I almost want to call and cancel the test I am so freaked out over it. Four hours long! Two of which they spend TRYING to make me nauseous!

You might get dizzy or sick to your stomach, but it shouldn't be horrible and a few hours is small price to pay for a diagnosis.

You'll regret it if you cancel- just get it over with.
 
Thanks for the reply...A friend is taking me, I wish it were over already! You're right, I'm already dizzy all the time, what's some intentional dizziness for a REAL answer!!?
 
It was ok. Turns out the secretary misinformed me and they do not do rotational testing at that site. Only had to deal with the caloric testing which freaked me out at first because the woman didn't tell me what she was doing. Audiogram wasn't so great though. My loss doubled in a month, but because it fluctuates so much, I'm not sure what the ENT is going to suggest.
