Anyone had a deafness like i have?

Once heard out of my right ear with a hearing aid,Had 45% left Hear good with a hearing aid for 38 years total all the sudden my hearing went down clooged for month then it got worse losing 80% my hearing hearing aid will not help because clarity is down. I also hear ear ringing roaring buzzing tones. Doctor ENT specialist doesnt know why i lost it. It goes up and down like its gets a little bit better during the day gets worse at night. Doctor thinks it might been a virus or a blood clot that did it. im going for anm MRI today hopefuly it will tell the story. And one had this condition tell me what happend,How it happend, did anything help to get better or what?

I won't speak for anyone else here since it would not be right of me - but in a way, we are all deaf. Whether we're physically deaf (born that way, or became that way as children or adults, whatever the reason) or we have something called selective hearing. In that case, you're only deaf when something you don't like is being said.

At any rate, you might want to ask your physician about other cases where someone was deafened the same way you were. Maybe he can put you in contact with someone else. Or hey, just stick around. You're welcome here whether you're deaf or hearing.
