Family spirit night to raise funds
Lawndale's Anderson Elementary School and the Larson School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing will hold a family spirit night Thursday at McDonald's, 15606 S. Hawthorne Blvd., Lawndale.
Fifteen percent of the profits from the event's food sales will benefit the two schools.
The event will feature Dorinda Dee, the school district's assistant superintendent, and two Anderson teachers: Rita Kamunde and Emily Montalvo
