List some of the positive things you remember that happened at AD in 2004.

- It didn't exactly happen at AD but my girlfriend and I met LinuxGold, one of our moderators, and his wife at a restaurant in Long Island. We all had a good time eating dinner and chit chatting the night away.

- AllDeaf became 2 years old in late April. We had more and more people visiting and registering everyday. The highest number of unique visitors being 22,790 in September alone. Most users ever online simultaneously was 350 in December.

- Members had to the chance to participate in the December contest where $159.85 worth of prizes were given away free. Also, one of our members, Banjo, created a cool Christmas logo for AllDeaf.

Go ahead and list some of the things you remember. :)

Errrrr.... I joined AD in very early 2004. ;)

I would have to say the coming of new members - MOST of the newbies, thank Lucius, are GOOD people - and I enjoy their posts immensely. There ARE some that I purposely ignore, but IMO, that does help to make this a more enjoyable place.

The introduction of several worthwhile posts...too many of 'em to name here, but these are generally the posts that are most enjoyable to respond to, and in turn, make AllDeaf the kind of place it was meant to be in the first place - fun.

I am sure there are more....but...good job, Alex. Here's to a successful 2005!

I can only describe this whole thing something
almost like "The Deaf Radio" This whole thing is such a
wonderful communication technology tool
for both serious and fun discussions !

I could remember something positive during 2004 about
the Las Vegas wedding Mayflower/Levonian...

Great forum !! :thumb:

What is/are the postive(s) about 2004 in AllDeaf?

The best 2004, when we all had fun posting along having some great laughs. I missed it, and would love to have it back again. ;)

Since I've been here for a year now, it has been one of the best forum , is glad to be part of this too....

---We had alot of new members, we made new friends, we enjoyed posting along with one other, we had our fun, our laughters, our tears, learning along from eachother too...

---I was proud to see that Roadrunner became a moderator and had done a wonderful job in this forum same likewise goes for all the rest of the moderators and you too Alex ;), keeping this forum as friendly and peaceful, and it has been a best year

---If it wasn't for this site, I wouldn't had my chance meeting some Alldeaf members here such as Malfoyish, Coffeeman, Vampy, and hoping to meet alot more this year....

--- Seeing new forums being add here such as Parent and Animal which makes this site even more intersting , to find more threads to create and share along with others....

---Alldeaf weddings bell happen along the year of 2004 of Lev, Mayflower, LinuxGold and his wife....hope to see more new wedding coming up soon this year of 2005

Lastly, I am happy to be a member of this awesome site ;)

I guess a big milestone here in AllDeaf would be when I reached my 10,000th post. ;)

Oh I forgot to add that Roadrunner becoming a Moderator was the best decision for AllDeaf Who has always been kind; gentle; loving and fair... Always try to do the right thing for everyone as treating them all equally.

And Meeting great people in real life, Hope to meet more great ones too in the nearest future. ;)

Also,
more understanding and supportive members whatever we are in needs..

List some of the positive things you remember that happened at AD in 2004.

Well I guess one would be when I joined on here, I was a bit scared, but I felt really welcomed! There have been some good threads I guess in the last couple of months, there's been so many people who made me laugh by what they put in their posts!

Although I haven't been on here for long, this is the first time on a message board that I've posted...can't remember my post count...350?...something like that, and believe me, I've joined loads of messageboards!

There's something about this messageboard that I really love and I just hope that I'll still be on here all old with a walking stick. Keep up the good work Mods! :thumb:

I've been having so much fun on AD - I wanna thank Alex for founding AD, the mods for being so patient with me while I lampooned them in the twisted Xmas songs, I wanna thank Angel and Cheri for providing some of the best ideas that I could jump on, I wanna thank TTT and Ravensteve1961 for being the best flaming devils, I wanna thank RoadRunner for the closet key, I wanna thank Malfoyish for changing me at her will, I wanna thank Nuse for setting one of the best postwhore threads I've ever seen, I wanna thank... (eh? oh my 30 seconds are over...damn!)

I wanna thank AD for giving me so many GREAT friends!!

And most of all, I wanna say thanks to all of you, you each got a place in my heart ... no matter who you are, no matter where you're from, no matter what you say...no matter how smart or how idiotic...it gave me food for fodder!

Here's to a new start in 2005! And my new goal of 10,000 whoring posts!
VamPyrox, here I come!!!

When I first joined....at first I didn't care about it....a year later, probably, then i started post some threads....now I have over 13,000 posts but I don't really CARE about being a post whore. I am here to enjoy and meet friends etc. :)

I've met a few ADers. :)

Nah... considering how long you've been here, you're not really a post whore.

I know some people who have 10,000 posts and they got it in one year. Now, that's a real post whore. ;)

:eek3: You brought back a 4 years old thread. How did you find it? It's buried in many pages.

when you are reallly bored. you would find a way to pull up many old members' threads. :D I click on some random someone's to lead me to see those threads seems to humor me then i reply it in order to bring it back. :giggle:
