I am a deaf boy who loves to act and watch movies. My friends and I who are deaf have gone to the movies but can't understand the movie without any type of captioning. I have a question for you: Would you like to pay $5 to watch a movie and not understand it?

I know the answer is no, so do you think it is fair to watch a movie without any captioning if you are deaf? Next time, think about being fair and having justice for the deaf in the movies. Justice is a virtue of character.

I agree I mean I'm tired of going to blockbuster to rent movies and having to look on the back of a DVD movie to be sure they have closed captions, and when they don't I can't watch the movie, same goes for movie theatres, I don't have a closed caption movie theatres around here, and having to wait until it comes out on the DVD before we are able to watch it....

My daughter enjoys going to movies and she always begs me to take her. I try to find movies with captioning that she can see but most of the time, no luck so I end up paying $7 to watch a movie I dont understand for my daughter's sake. Then, she would ask me what I think of the movie and I feel bad cuz sometimes I cant give her my opinion if I dont know what was being said. Like with the movie, "Princess Ice"..that was a tough one to figure out!!!

I totally agree that all movies, and not just the foreign ones, should be captioned.
