So I had an hearing appointment today and she recommended I go for the new hearing aids called Agil. I really love how they look cause they don't appear visible when you wear them. Anyone has them? I'd love to hear your option's about it. :)

Do they also offer face masks so that my face will be prettier?

p.s. Have you tried the new Lower-Sodium Spam? Not bad....

Agil Oticon is a model of hearing aid ... I don't think it's spam.

I was going to volunteer that my husband got Siemens Pure and loves the tiny size, but they only fit up to severe losses, and I think Agil might be even less powerful.

They aren't actually for people who are profoundly deaf.

FF and Anij: My post is sarcastic, as I am 99% sure it is a spam post by a new member that is trying to "sell" these aids by creating a topic. Let's see what happens now.....

Maybe, but if they were trying to sell them, they'd also know that they aren't actually "new" at all.... they've been around at least 3years now and aren't anything "fancy".

Bott is right. Agil is for severe loss. Not profoundly deaf.

Justin, don't worry about cosmetics. That should be the least of your worries. Thing is, Ha companies make it sound like a BTE is equal to a 1930's body worn aid. Experiment with different aids.....

I spend nearly 6K on a pair of Agil's with the Oticon streamer - it was a huge improvement over my old CIC Music Pro's, that is, until I lost what was left of my hearing and moved onto CI's. I really enjoyed the Agil's bluetooth ability and found the sound quality to be quite decent. Ended up selling them both for <2K as I no longer could use them but I sure do miss them!
