I was watching Primetime about foster children and how hard it is for them to be adopted. It's heartbreaking because so many of them never got a chance to be adopted because their foster parents can't handle them.
But in that show, there was a troubled boy wanting to be adopted and a gay couple decided to adopt him. Four years later, he spoke so highly of his two dads, saying that they were "very very loving parents" and "have helped me a lot."
So, you see, gays can be GREAT parents. I cannot stand homophobes who think gays aren't suitable to be parents.
