The Anjana Deaf and Dumb Residential School for girls, aided by the Kanataka government, has started making admission for the year 2006-07 from class I to class X.
Deaf and dumb girl students from the districts of Gulbarga, Bidar, Raichur, Bijapur and Bagalkot are already studying in the school which is said to be the lone school of its kind in the region.
Interested parents have been asked to contact the head master of the school for admission of their wards. The school is situated at Shivanagar on Aland Road.
