A RIT student who was speeding on a motorcycle tried to stop at a train crossing at Brooks Road in Henrietta. He lost control, hit a suv there and got thrown over the suv onto the tracks where the last car of the train cut off his arm.  :barf:

No, not an accident. It was a reckless collision.

When it come to motor vehicle collisions, it is rarely a true accident. Most of the times, it is due to the driver being irresponsible and making bad choices.

Like it or not, but that's what I believe. People shouldn't fool around with motor vehicles, period. These aren't made to kill people, but people turn them into killing machines because of their stupidity.

Yes, speeding is being irresponsible and reckless. Sorry, no sympathy from me. Somebody else could had gotten killed because of him.

I have my reasons to show a strong bluntness and criticism toward irresponsible drivers.

I have to agree with you there. Ever notice that the word used is "accident" which in of itself conveys no blame. I would say "reckless crash" or "speeding causes terrible crash" would be a better description of this news report.

Hell yeah. Glad I'm not the only one here who feel the same regarding this news report. The reason why I responded was because I didn't feel that the "sad face" smiley was appropriate for this.

and hope that he actually learned his lesson. Especially after what happened. Yes, people can be that stupid and do it all over again.

Double *Sigh!* Unfortunately, most people don't learn from their mistakes which is the reason why this happened in the first place... You can bet this isn't his first stupid act...with decision making like that.
