I thought I'd share this. I'm writing on another story. Called Just One. And it's about a girl named Jennifer (her nickname is Jenny) is in summer and she's a sophmore now. She has to write a paper on her summer vacation. But her summer has just started for her. And she doesn't know what to write yet. So.. This is part of my story. And It's a funny part of it. Leave some comments as you wish to!!
here it is::
I'm sitting in my chair with a paper in front of me on my desk. I have a pencil right next to my blank paper. The assignment was supposed to be what I did this summer, and it still is summer. But the paper is due at the last day of summer vacation. Plus, I really wish I don't have any homework for the summer. I need a break, I thought. I got up from my chair and went into the kitchen to get a bottle of water.
"How's your paper going?" Dad asked.
"It's coming." I answered, stressed.
"What paper?" Matt, my older brother asked. I rolled my eyes.
"Jennifer has a summer assignment she needs to do for her English class; she needs to write a paper about her summer." Dad explained.
"Sounds boring." I hit Matt at the back of his head.
"Ow"
"Enough you two, I can't have this nonsense in this room today." Mom said.
"What's wrong with you?" Matt asked.
"Your grandmother, my mom, is coming to town."
"Nana is coming?!" I said, excitedly.
"Yes,” Mom said, "I just want you two to behave. No fighting please."
"Like that'll happen." I said, looking at Matt.
"What? I don't start these stupid fights unless it’s something important to fight about." Matt said. I gave off a weird look.
"What the heck are you talking about?" I asked.
"Never mind. You wouldn't understand." Yeah, because your brain isn't turned on right. I thought.
"Whatever." I replied.
"I'm going to go upstairs and clean some more until your Grandmother gets here." Mom said. She gathered her cleaning supplies and went upstairs.
"I would leave your mother alone for now, you know how she acts when she gets freaked out when somebody is coming to town at the last minute" dad whispered. I nodded my head. Matt laughed quietly. Dad hit him at the back of the head.
"Ow! Sheesh what is this? Slap matt day?" Matt said. I nodded, laughing.
