A young deaf-mute woman who escaped a gang of thieves and wandered around China for eight months was reunited with her father in Shanghai yesterday.
The reunion came after city police officer Hong Jieling spotted an apparently disoriented woman wandering around the Shanghai Railway Station Wednesday night.
