A Guest Speaker on CI

The Speech Pathology Club had a guest speaker whose 3.5 years old dauhter has CI. I enjoyed her speech about her daughter. The daughter knows a tiny bit of sign language, which is used when she is taking bath or any time she does not have the external part on. :) :ty:
 
I'm glad you decided to attend the presentation. :) What other things did the mother talk about? How long has her daughter had her CI? Was she recently implanted?

Sorry, I has been very busy with college. :( Her daughter was born with a profound loss in one ear and I believe with moderate-sevre in the other ear. Then, she lost her remaining hearing and was implanted six months ago.
