@ Club Rio?

But how bad is the ecstasy and other drug problems at these raves?

Not all raves have drugs. I don't do drugs, but if they had drugs there, it won't stop me from going and have fun.

just because a few icolated people take drugs during the raves doesnt mean everyone does

Sure, but it's usually taking place at almost every rave and there are even deaths as a result. By the way, I never said everybody do drugs.

But the biggest problem with raves is, they're too crammed which is a direct violation of the fire code. At least, it is in many cases.

Give me 10 good reasons why to have a rave, and it has to be logical, not fun. Sure, fun is great but you have to think of the people first.

Safety come first, not fun.

To me, the negative points outweigh the good points when it come to raves because people don't care for the laws or the safety of the people they make money off.

ok as an outspoken english person i will give you the low down

because of the heairng problems involved with thease raves alot of extra security measures have to be taken into account... there has to be extensive fire training and so forth... you try getting the attention of some 200 deaf people in one go.... its not like you can shout 'hey guys the buildings on fire can you follow me please'

banjo im not sure if your deaf, but even as a hearing person you have to agree life gets alittle strained... personaly im not profoundly deaf... but i face alot of difficultys and feel icolated quite alot.... being 19 and deaf has its setbacks.... theres not alot of things you can do... thease raves are bringing potentialy icolated people out of the norm and giving them oportunities to meet and have fun with people just like them

and i dont think deaf drug deals are that widespread... due to the fact you try sighning "dude do you want omse dope" without someone spotting it...... and i dont think a person with normal hearing would find it verry comfortable in that enviroment due to the bass etc

i personaly see this as a great way for deaf people to come together... forget they are diffrent form the rest of society and feel not so icolated

theres nothing round my area for deaf people... so i would glady travel to an event like this if i liked rave music..... i would glady go anywhere where i can meet and talk with people who wont look at me when i say 'im deaf' and say 'what?'.......... that look.... ''oh god she's not normal''
