99 bouquets of roses at the store today.

One was bought, down to 98.
 
98 bags of Easter candy left over.

One was eaten, down to 97.
 
97 pairs of socks that have holes in them.

One new bag of socks bought, down to 96 .....

95 balloons waiting to be popped because someone forgot the last 5,

Erk. I played this on another forum. This is hard to do when there's overlapping posts.

Changed mine to be 95 and 94.
 
93 fishes live in the sea, run away from Great White Shark but sadly one got eaten. So, down to 92
