50-year-old arrested for raping minor deaf and dumb girl in Orissa - dnaindia.com
A 50-year-old was arrested today on the charges of raping a minor deaf and dumb girl in Sundergarh district.
Police said the accused, Kura Tirkey, took a 10-year-old deaf and dumb girl to his house in Chhend area and raped her yesterday.
The girl returned to her house and reported the matter to parents, after which she was immediately admitted to Rourkela Government Hospital with bleeding injuries.
Tirkey was immediately arrested, police said adding that he has now been remanded to a jail custody.
