That's exactly why I am on this board. In the beginning I blindly followed most of the advice given by the doctors because it was so overwhelming and I had no idea where to start. I am constantly researching and equipping myself. I ask a lot more questions now!

Interesting.... How long have you had BAHAs? Did you wear BTEs at all? How does the sound quality compare? All of the online resources lead you to believe that hearing greater than 50 would disqualify you.

That is definitely a concern but I don't think she can open it and her aids have a battery lock (?) that is sometimes hard for me to remove. The reason behind my original post is the fact the she pulled her earmold apart and could have choked on it.
