It's hard to register sarcasm via Internet with people you don't know. So idk what y'all want me to say to that. Sheesh ask people for help and get attacked. This forum is oh so much fun! <- sarcasm. And most of the deaf events are on the weekends, I'm a waitress and that's when I work. :/

Actually I said "someone/ some people who are deaf for about an hour or so?" So this is just a misunderstanding. The goal is simply to interact with someone who uses the language I'm learning primarily. If anyone is willing to help me I'd be grateful.

Of course I'd be willing to talk for more than an hour. I want to learn everything, and make friends. And I live in the town of Islip, I'd be willing to meet someone for coffee at Starbucks or something. Obv my signing is not that great but I won't get better unless I have real experience.
