Thanks for the suggestion but thinking about it, I mean, after all, I do need a secondary dvd player for the room that the monitor is in, so buying a DVD player is something I will have to do anyways, Seq also mentionned that although they are rare, DVD players with cc decoders do exist, so...

Greets all, Was wondering if anyone could help with the following setup... I have an extra pc monitor gathering dust, it's a nice 22" LG and I want to turn it into a tv using a dvd player (not blu ray just a regurlar dvd player). I know btw using a computer with a tv tuner card...
