I'm another deafie. I just joined today. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. I was diagnosed at 5, was fitted with hearing aids and sent to mainstreamed school where I was taught oralism. I learned ASL at a late age, but am the happier for it. I'm currently a graduate student.
