everyone says that I'm starting to slurr my words. would that be considered a deaf accent? I'm also from teh south and we talk slow anyway. so i guess I have a deaf southern accent...lol

To me it would depend on the situation that I'm in. I can't talk to people that I don't know over the phone especially women. So i say I'm deaf. I can't hear what people with accents are saying when I lip read.. To them i would say I'm deaf. but to everyone else i say I'm hearing impaired...
