That's right, it's 24/7 there. I prefer city to suburb. I grew up in Ohio -- very depressing.

Hi Justin. I also want to learn ASL. I spend some time each day practicing finger spelling and learning words online. I like the lifeprint.com site. Welcome and good luck. :)

I've never been to NYC, just passed through the airport a few times. I would love to see the housing there.

    Pregnant again!

I agree it should be the last solution. I am just squimish about things like that and think 20 is too young to make that decision. I wouldn't ever do it. How about using a condom? It also helps to be aware of your cycle and know when you can get pregnant. I know that not all birth...

I know people who take their test in south city because there aren't as many hills and it's supposed to be easier. I don't think that they would take you on the really steep hills for your test.

That's great. You have told them just the right amount of information. There's no reason to scare them with too much information.

It's hard to drive in downtown SF because of all the one way streets and no left turns. I just got a GPS so I will have an easier time now. It doesn't help when people are honking behind you. I get really nervous. Very rude!

Oh that would be scary! How about going down the hills? Sometimes it's so steep you can't see below you when starting down. The car hangs there for a few seconds.

He He... I was trying to go up a hill in Pacific Heights in a junky stick Subaru and just couldn't make it. I put in neutral, backed down the hill and took a longer route through the Presidio to avoid the hill. Where did you grow up Sequoias?

I am an expert parker, but can not handle a clutch on the hills around here. My first two cars here were stick and I would be so nervous on the hills rolling back and tearing out the clutch. From the top floor of my house you can see a little of the ocean and the Marin Headlands.

You make more money here than other areas of the country. It's a trade off, I don't own but I really love where I live and feel that I am doing fine just saving money instead of taking on a huge mortgage.

My rent in SF is $3500 a month. I wanted to buy last year buy could not afford the $8000 mortgage payments. Maybe someday. It's worth it to me, I can't imagine living anywhere else.
